Description

This katana is in excellent preservation condition and exhibits typical Bakumatsu sword features. The blade has a well-packed itame hada with active layers and a suguha hamon with ko-gunome. Made in Osaka in December 1867, this Edo period work is rare and valuable, certified by Sato Kanzan as the work of Sadakazu I.
