Description

A Kamiyoshi school tsuba featuring a wind and forest design (Furinzu) in sukashi (openwork). The tsuba is made of iron and has a chrysanthemum shape with two hitsuana (holes). The Kamiyoshi school was active from the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period and inherited the style of the Hayashi school.
