T235. Iron sukashi tsuba signed Myochin Muneyasu. 7.8 x 8.2 x .4 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.7 cm. A crescent moon is reflected on water. One hitsu-ana is plugged with lead and there are numerous small tekkotsu on the rim. This tsuba comes with a box that has a label to match the signature inside the top, and a paper from the Nihon Tosogu Kenkyukai dated 2014. The NTK is headed by Makio Saruta, author ofTosogu no Bi. Condition is fine. $250.
