Description

This is a wakizashi by Tanba no kami Yoshimichi, the first generation from Osaka, a master smith active in Settsu Province during the early Edo period. The blade exhibits the typical Kanbun Shinto style with a wide body, narrowing tip, and shallow sori. It features the family's signature sudare-ba hamon and a pointed Sanpin-boshi.
