This Gendaito Katana was signed by Chikushu-ju Muneshige in 1990. Muneshige, born Kojō Shigeaki in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1932, learned from his father Munihiro and is known for his exceptionally sharp blades. The sword features exquisite Horimono engravings of Fudō Myō-ō riding a dragon (Kurikara Fudō) and a Bonji inscription on one side, and the Kurikara-ken on the other, symbolizing protection and spiritual strength.
