This is a katana made by Muneshige, whose real name is Shigeaki Kojo, born in Showa 7. He is a disciple of Sō Hiroshi, father of Sō Tsutomu, and is known for his sharp cutting ability, similar to Sō Tsutomu. The blade is also famous as the author of the renowned sword 'Sasatsuyu', a term used to describe exceptional sharpness.
