Description

This is an Edo period tsuba made by Mitsunuki from Yamashiro province. The tsuba features a design of a hawk perched on a pine branch, glaring down at a monkey hiding in a cave. It is made of iron with gold, silver, copper, shakudo, and brass inlays and has been certified as Tokubetsu Hozon.
