This comes with Skip’s collection photo, on the back of which he notes, “Kyo Shoami, Mukade – Poss for Shingen, Momoyama.” I’m not sure what Skip is suggesting with mention of Shingen (iron tsuba with lots of after market copper or brass wire added) but I am sure this is quite nice. There is subtle tekkotsu on the rim and condition is excellent. $675.
