Description

This is a wakizashi made by Hizen Kunihiro in the early Edo period. The blade features a regular width, slightly high shinogi, and a moderate sori with an elongated chu-kissaki. The hamon is a lively gunome-midare with abundant nie, and the jigane is an itame with some o-hada.
