Description

This is an Owari school tsuba made by Toda Hikozaemon during the mid Edo period (17th century). It features suhama crest Ko-sukashi openwork on an iron ground with a polished surface and Amida file marks. The tsuba has a well-contoured round Mimi edge and both Hitsu-ana punches.
