This is a katana by Yamagami Harima no Kami Kunitaka, dated to the 12th year of Kanbun (1672) in the early Edo period. Kunitaka was from Bungo province and a student of Izumi no Kami Kunesada in Osaka. His works are rare due to his dedication to assisting his master and later, Inoue Shinkai.
