This is a wakizashi by the Gendaito smith Tanigawa Moriyoshi, made in 1973. It is a copy of the famous Bizen Chogi blade known as 'O-Chogi' or 'Hocho Chogi'. The blade features a wide body, thick kasane, and shallow sori, with a vibrant hamon in gunome mixed with choji-style elements and abundant nie.
