This listing features a katana by Minamoto Moriyoshi, dated to August of the Showa Jinjutsu year (1982). Moriyoshi, a descendant of the Kongo Hyoe smiths, studied under Kongo Hyoe Moritaka Yasuhiro and was recognized as a Mukansa swordsmith in 1985. He was known for his research and efforts to emulate Kiyomaro of the late Edo period.
