Description

This antique Japanese katana is signed by the 3rd generation Kyo Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi, a prestigious smith from the Mishina school active during the early Edo period (1661-1681). It features a beautiful Sudareba Hamon, a unique tempering pattern invented by the first-gen Yoshimichi, and bears the honorable chrysanthemum emblem. The sword comes with a Koshirae mounting depicting samurai in battle and is certified as Tokubetsu Hozon by the NBTHK.
