This katana is signed by the third-generation Kyo Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi, active during the early Edo period (1661-1681) and belonging to the prestigious Mishina school. It features a beautiful Sudareba Hamon, a unique tempering pattern developed by the first-generation Yoshimichi. The blade comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificate, shirasaya, and koshirae with a peony menuki and karigane tsuba.
