This wakizashi, attributed to Uda Hirakuni, was crafted in Etchû province during the late Muromachi Period (Bunki era: 1501-1504). It features a striking jihada of itame with swirling chikei and an active gunome midare hamon with kinsuji and sunagashi. The blade is ô-suriage mumei and comes with an NBTHK Hozon certificate.
