This is an iron sukashi tsuba featuring a design of three parasols, measuring 7.2 x 7.5 x 0.45 cm. It exhibits fine dense iron with subtle tekkotsu on the rim and comes with a box and a Tokubetsu Kicho paper from the NBTHK, dated 1972, attributing it to the Yagyu school. The Yagyu school, famous for combining warrior ethics with art, designed tsuba that are highly sought after by collectors, and this piece is in excellent condition.
