This is a beautiful nihonto tachi in tachi koshirae from the Azuchi Momoyama period or very early Edo period. The blade is in very good condition with a spectacular polish and the koshirae is in a great state of preservation for its age. The saya still has gold filigree and the blade has a detailed jihada.
