This is an antique Katana long blade made by swordsmith Jumyo in the early Edo period (1600s). The smith's name is inscribed on the tang, and the blade features a beautiful straight tempered-line pattern. It is registered as Tokubetsu Kicho paper "Important historical Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society) and comes in complete ornate mountings including a Tsuba guard featuring a samurai kabuto helmet.
