縁頭 銘：細野惣左衛門政守（保存刀装具） 細野惣左衛門政守は、17世紀後半から京都で活躍した名工です。元禄4年（1691年）や正徳3年（1713年）の年紀作が現存しており、一説には70歳まで存命したと伝えられていますが、正確な生没年は詳らかではありません。 政守は、極小の毛彫に平象嵌を併用する独自の画期的な技法を確立しました。その緻密な技術により、本作のような限られた空間の中に、壮大な風景や「三十六歌仙」といった多人数を見事に描き出すことを可能にしています。 本作は四分一地に銅、銀、金の象嵌を施し、藤原公任によって選出された飛鳥・奈良・平安時代の歌詠みの精鋭「三十六歌仙」を題材としています。 寸法： 縁：38 mm x 20 mm x 9 mm 頭：35 mm x 16 mm x 6 mm 専用桐箱付

Kyo-Kinko fuchikashira with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. Decorated with a Japanese festival theme. There are multiple people with swords, fans and musical instruments. All appear to be dancing. Made of shakudo with nanako ground. With multiple inlaid metals. When looking at it in person those small characters make an amazing impression. However with zoom and close ups most of the magic disappears. So it is best to try to look at this set in its original size. Size: Fuchi: 39 mm x 23 mm x 12 mm Kashira: 33 mm x 19 mm x 8 mm Made in late edo period.
