Modern sword Zuisen Horii Toshihide with Koshirae.これは、大正・昭和時代の名工、堀井俊英(秀明)が作った脇差です。彼は「三笠刀」の作者として有名で、戦前に数々の栄誉を受賞し、多くの優れた門人を育てました。本作は、精緻に鍛えられた地鉄に、明るく冴えた中直刃を焼いた素晴らしい作品であり、拵も最高級の仕上がりです。This is a wakizashi crafted by Horii Toshihide (Shuumei), a renowned swordsmith of the Taisho and Showa eras.He is famous as the creator of the “Mikasa-to” and received numerous honors before the war. Additionally, he trained many skilled disciples.This piece is an outstanding work, featuring a well-forged jigane and a bright, refined chu-suguha hamon.
