Modern sword Hizen Karatsu ju Masayoshi saku with Koshirae. 佐賀県唐津市の名工、正吉の作品です。 刀身は研ぎ上げたばかりで、柄巻と鞘は新品です。 本作は平肉が薄く、試斬に最適な刀です。 This is a piece crafted by Masayoshi, a renowned artisan from Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. The blade has been freshly polished, and the tsuka-maki (handle wrapping) and saya (scabbard) are brand new. This sword features a thin hira-niku (blade profile), making it ideal for tameshigiri (test cutting). 「刀姿 sword figure」 鎬造り庵棟、身幅広く重尋常、鳥居反りで反りやや深く中鋒。茎は生で鑢目は切り、茎尻は栗尻。 「地鉄 jigane」 地鉄は板目肌が流れ柾心となり、地沸付く。 「刃紋 hamon」 刃紋は互の目丁子、足良く入り砂流しかかる、刃中は葉、金筋が入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。 「特徴 detailed」 肥前唐津住正吉、本名田口庄一、佐賀県唐津市住、師は父田口庄次。全日本刀匠会会員。入選入賞多数の名工です。 本作、刀身は研ぎ上げたばかりです、また平肉が薄く、試斬に最適な刀です。 This blade was crafted by Hizen Karatsu ju Masayoshi, whose real name is Shoichi Taguchi. Residing in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, he trained under his father, Shoji Taguchi. A member of the All Japan Swordsmith Association, Masayoshi is a distinguished swordsmith with numerous awards and accolades to his name. This particular piece has been freshly polished, featuring a thin hira-niku (blade profile), making it an ideal sword for tameshigiri (test cutting). 「拵 Koshirae」 柄巻と鞘は新品です。 ハバキ(habaki) :素銅地一重の腰祐乗。 鍔(Tsuba) :鉄地変わり木瓜形松炭の図。 縁頭(FuchiKashira) :赤銅石目地馬の図。 目貫(menuki) :赤銅地馬の図。 柄(Tsuka) :鮫は黒染、柄巻は豚表革の諸捻り巻。(新品) 鞘(Saya) :黒呂(新品) 「刀剣の状態 condition of blade」 研:研ぎ上げたばかりです。 傷:欠点になるような傷はありません。
