This is a hantachi koshirae (mounting) with a fuemaki nuri (flute-wrap lacquer) saya from the Edo period. It includes a tsunagi (wooden blade substitute) with a length of approximately 67cm. The koshirae features iron fittings with arabesque designs, shakudo menuki depicting various flowers, and a small openwork iron tsuba. It is accompanied by a Tokubetsu Kicho Koshirae certificate from the NBTHK.
