This tachi is a faithful reproduction of the elegant, curved tachi style of the late Heian period, forged using Yasuki Tamahagane steel, which is now difficult to obtain. It features a bright and clear straight temper line. As it is unsigned, it is possible to have a preferred inscription added before registration.
