Description

This is a daisho (matching pair) tsuba set crafted from iron, featuring a skillfully executed openwork design of bush clover (shukaido). The composition, with its gracefully spreading leaves and flowers swaying in the wind, creates a sense of lightness and depth through the openwork. The intricate chisel work extends to every vein of the leaves, capturing the plant's inherent suppleness and strength, resulting in a highly refined piece that balances realism and design.
