This is a magnificent Omi Yari (large spear) made by Dodanuki Hyobu from Higo province during the Tensho era (1573-1591). It features a robust construction with a thick kasane and a sharp point, ideal for combat. The yari comes with a Shu tataki nuri saya koshirae and a shirasaya, and is accompanied by a Tokubetsu Hozon certificate from the NBTHK.
