This is a magnificent Omi Yari (large spear) made by Dodanuki Hyobu from Higo province during the Tensho era (Momoyama period). It features a robust construction with a thick kasane and sharp point, ideal for combat. The blade has a dynamic hamon with shallow notare, gunome, and togari, and is accompanied by a long Shu Tataki Nuri Saya koshirae.
