This modern authentic katana was forged by Shinano Koku Kiyoyuki in 2001. Kiyoyuki, a Mukansa swordsmith, was known for his skill in the Soshu Den tradition and dedicated his career to preserving traditional Japanese sword-forging techniques. The blade features a cutting edge length of 73.4 cm and a curvature of 2.0 cm, and comes with a shirasaya case and maintenance kit.
