This is a signed wakizashi by Jumyo, a renowned smithing lineage active from the late Kamakura period to the end of the Edo period. The blade is certified as Hozon Token by the NBTHK. While appraised as Shinto, its two-character signature and overall appearance give it an impression closer to a Koto blade from the border of old and new eras. The blade has old polish and shows some minor scratches, tiny nicks, and rust, which should be reviewed in the photos.
