Description

This is an unsigned Akasaka Tsuba attributed to Tadahora from the early Edo period. It features a Musashino sukashi (openwork) design of withered autumn grasses within a square shape with rounded corners. The tsuba exhibits a refined iron color and delicate craftsmanship, characteristic of Akasaka tsuba from this period. It comes with an NBTHK Hozon Tosogu paper.
