This is an unsigned Koto-Tosho tsuba from the early Muromachi period, featuring an elegant openwork design of young leaves and a Gorinto pagoda. The design is said to represent the Buddhist concept of reincarnation. It is accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certificate.
