This is a rare Katana by Hoshu Ju Harima no Kami Kunitoshi, dated February 1863, from the turbulent Bakumatsu period. The blade features a wide width, thick kasane, and deep curvature, with well-forged ko-itame hada and a nie-deki straight hamon with active kinsuji. It comes with a koshirae including a round iron tsuba with paulownia motifs and shakudo nanako fuchikashira with lion motifs.
