This is an original new-made katana by Giheiya, forged by the popular swordsmith Akamatsu Taro Kanetsugu (Kimura Kanesada), though signed as a collaboration with Nobuhiro. It features a striking jūka-choji hamon and is mounted in a koshirae with consistent dragon and shigami motifs. Originally made for iaidō, it is lightweight and exceptionally well-balanced, making it ideal for practice.
