A Ko-Tosho tsuba featuring a 'Mangetsu ni Hoshi' (full moon and stars) sukashi design. It was made in the middle Muromachi period (1430 – 1490) and is in original, un-modified condition without hitsu-ana. The tsuba has a well-forged plate with a good dark patina and perfect preservation, with some old lacquer still visible.
