This is a wakizashi by Kanesaki, who served the Inshu Tottori domain. The Kanesaki family originated from Mino province and moved to Bizen, then Tottori, with their lord's transfer during the Kanei era. They continued forging swords until the Haitorei in the Meiji period. This particular blade is from the early Edo period, specifically the Enpo era, and is attributed to the 6th generation Kanesaki, active from Kanbun to Genroku.
