This is a modern katana by Minamoto Moriatsu II, a leading Satsuma smith in the lineage of Kongobei Moritaka. The blade features a flowing itame-hada that transitions into masame-hada, with a magnificent gunome-midare hamon. It comes with an attractive koshirae, featuring a wine-colored saya with arabesque designs and sendan-kizami texturing near the koiguchi.
