NihontoWatch出ました出ました鹿児島の誇り薩州住源盛篤刀匠の名刀が出ました。盛篤刀匠は本名藤田新一氏。昭和9年生、鹿児島県薩摩郡鶴田町住。 全日本刀匠会会員。金剛兵衛盛高刀匠の門の為に古刀期から金剛兵衛鍛冶の中心尻は深い剣形型ですが、盛篤刀匠も伝統にのっとり深い剣形型の中心を現して古来からの伝統を現在まで守っていますが、本刀は特別に大胆な試みとし中心尻を栗尻の型に挑戦した貴重な刀です。新作名刀展では多数の賞を受賞する名工です。本刀の姿は元身幅と先身幅の差の有る優美な良い刀姿を現し、地金は板目肌が良く詰み力強い地金を鍛え、彫りは棒樋を彫り上手です。刃紋は覇気有る小沸の付いた互の目丁子刃を焼き見事です。拵えも柄は高級な革を巻いた柄の付いた現代の拵えが本盛篤刀匠の刀に一層華を添えています。居合のお稽古にも軽くて調子が良く刃鳴りも良く直ぐに使用が出来ます。この度古いお数寄者様から特別に誂えてお作りいただいた刀ですが自分達も年を取りましたので大切にしていただける方にお安くお譲り下さいとお預かりした為に特別に格安にてご提供いたします是非お楽しみ下さいませ。
