This is a healthy and gorgeous Wakizashi by Daihoshi Hokyo Rai Kinmichi, the 2nd generation Rai Kinmichi, from the Edo period (Keian era, 1648). The blade features a wide and thick shape with deep sori and a long kissaki. It comes with both a shirasaya and an attractive koshirae, and is accompanied by an NBTHK Kicho paper.
