This antique iron tsuba, attributed to Myochin Kino Soji, features a mokko-shaped form with linear patterns resembling tree growth rings. It comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Kichou Certificate, issued in 1965. The Myochin school, known for its armor and sword fittings, was active from the Heian period, with many iron tsuba surviving from the Edo period.
