This antique Japanese wakizashi is signed by Monju Shigekuni during the early Edo Period (mid 17th century). It is estimated to be a work of the second-gen Shigekuni, active from 1655 to 1661. The blade comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, shirasaya case, koshirae case, traditional sword carrying case, and sword maintenance kit.
