This is a tanto by Magoroku Kanemoto, a representative smith of the late Muromachi period Mino school. It features a small tanto shape with a typical Kanemoto style of itame-hada mixed with nagare-masame and pointed gunome-midare hamon. The blade is in good polish, though with some slight wear from previous sharpening.
