This is an iron sukashi tsuba featuring a centipede (mukade) design. It measures 7.5 x 7.6 x 0.45 cm and is attributed to Kyo Shoami from the Momoyama period. The tsuba is in excellent condition with subtle tekkotsu on the rim.
