This is a robust Katana by the modern swordsmith Ozawa Masatoshi, made in October 1982. The blade features a wide mihaba, moderate curvature, and an elongated kissaki, with an exceptionally active nie-deki gunome-midare hamon. Ozawa Masatoshi, though not Mukansa, was a highly acclaimed smith known for his Soden-Bizen style blades.
