This is a superb Bakumatsu period Tanto featuring an O-kissaki style blade, dated August 1868 AD. The tang is signed by Hoki no Kami Fujiwara Yoshiyuki. The tanto is presented in a stunning koshirae, decorated throughout with the Paulownia Kamon.
