Description

Antique katana made by the swordsmith Fujiwara Yoshiyuki in the Meiji era (1860s). The smith's name, location, and completion year (1869) are engraved on the tang. The blade features a beautiful O-Gunome hamon tempered line pattern and comes in a complete antique ornate mounting with a handle and Tsuba guard.
