This is an excellent katana by the second generation (Nidai) Dewa Daijô Kunimichi of the Horikawa Kunihiro school, working around the Manji era (1658-1661). The blade has a cutting edge of 69.4 cm and a shallow sori of 1.27 cm. The sword comes with a nice set of koshirae from the late Edo period and NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon papers.
