NihontoWatchNihontoWatch日足とは太陽の光を図案化したものをいいます。 太陽が円で表現されて「日の丸」のように表現されると、戦場で区別がつかなくなったため、足を加えて表現したのが始まりとも言われます。 くっきりと日足が表現されると夏の日差しのような、力強い光のようですが、鋤下彫で柔らかく表現されているので、冬のポカポカ陽気のような日差しに見えます。 やや重めですがお使いになられる刀の鍔としても良いような大きさです。 大きさもしっかりありますので、２尺３寸５分を超えるような長い御刀におすすめです。
