This is a katana by Kuniharu, the second son of the renowned Shiro Kunimitsu, a modern master smith born in 1929. Forged in 1999 (Heisei 11), this blade features a well-forged jitetsu with tight ko-itame and a skillfully executed gunome hamon. It comes with a modern koshirae featuring a brass tsuba with a chrysanthemum crest and a vibrant red saya, making it suitable for appreciation, iaido, or tameshigiri.
