Description

This katana is a work by Kuniharu, the second son of the renowned Shiro Kunimitsu. Born in 1929, Kuniharu has continued to forge swords across the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, earning recognition as a modern master craftsman. The blade features a well-forged jigane with tight ko-itame, a gently undulating gunome hamon, and bo-hi and soe-hi carvings, making it an excellent and healthy example of a modern sword suitable for iai practice.
