Description

This antique Japanese Wakizashi was forged by Bizen Osafune Yokoyama Sukekane in the 2nd year of the Ansei era (1855), during the late Edo period. Sukekane was a renowned smith in Bizen province and a 58th-generation descendant of Tomonari. The blade features a beautiful Midare Hamon and Jigane, and comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its historical and artistic value.
