Description

This antique Japanese katana is signed by Kunimasa, a swordsmith from Oshu province (today's Fukushima prefecture) active during the Genroku era (1688-1704). Kunimasa was an Okakaekaji for the Soma clan. The blade comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, indicating its authenticity and high artistic value, and includes a full koshirae mounting and shirasaya case.
